Ingredients


1/2 cup frozen blueberries

1 cup baby kale (chopped)

1/2 banana

1/2 cup almond milk

1/4 cup water

1 tablespoon plant-based gluten-free protein powder

1 tablespoon chia seeds

Introduction

This kale and blueberry smoothie is full of natural antioxidants, detoxifiers and great anti-inflammatory compounds found in kale. Blueberries are also proven to support digestion, combat cancer and aid weight loss. It's almost impossible to fit more good-for-you into a single smoothie.

Preparation

Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Enjoy immediately!
Tip: To save time in the morning, you can simply put the ingredients (save the water and almond milk) for a serving of this smoothie into a freezer-safe jar and freeze them for the week to come. In the morning, simply blend the contents of a jar with some water and almond milk, and your healthy breakfast is ready in less than 5 minutes.
