Ingredients


1/2 cup raw cashews

1/2 cup pitted dates

1/2 cup shredded coconut (or desiccated coconut)

1 tablespoon raw cacao powder

1 tablespoon chia seeds

1 pinch sea salt

1 orange (finely grated zest and squeezed)

Introduction

Packed full of protein, antioxidants and omega-3 fats, these bliss balls taste like a naughty treat but are actually extremely good for you.

Preparation

Blend the dry ingredients in a food processor until finely ground.
Zest the orange and add the zest to the food processor. Squeeze in 2-3 tablespoons of orange juice, then mix until the ingredients are well blended and a ball forms.
Shape the mixture into balls, roll in the coconut and/or cacao and refrigerate them until firm.
Enjoy 2 bliss balls as a snack and keep the rest in the fridge.
