Ingredients


1 banana (frozen or fresh)

1/2 avocado (ripe)

3/4 cup almond milk

1 tablespoon plant-based gluten-free protein powder

1 tablespoon raw cacao powder

1 tablespoon chia seeds

Introduction

Smoothie bowls are a great way to get a lot of vitamins into your system while feeling like you're eating a decadent dessert. This chocolate, banana and avocado smoothie bowl is packed full of healthy fats from the avocado and vital minerals from the raw cacao. The chia seeds finish it off nicely with a healthy dose of protein and antioxidants while also covering all your vegan omega-3 needs!

Preparation

Cut the banana into pieces. Peel the avocado and cut it into medium pieces as well.
Place the banana, avocado, almond milk and protein powder in a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
Remove the mixture from the blender, add the chia seeds and stir with a spoon. Place the mixture in a bowl. To decorate, chop a half-ripe banana into slices and place on the side of the bowl, add a spoonful of grated coconut and a teaspoon of chia seeds.
Eat immediately.
Tip: Use frozen bananas to get the creamiest consistency.
