Ingredients


8 cups water

1/2 cup pineapple (fresh if possible)

1 lemon

2 tablespoons ginger root (sliced)

1/4 cup parsley (washed)

Introduction

Reaching your daily water intake is incredibly important to keep you hydrated, but including even more healthy things in your water is of course never a bad idea! This particular detox water uses the goodness of lemon and pineapple so that you can rejuvenate your skin, fight infections, lower your blood sugar and reduce inflammation in the body. The parsley also helps to prevent kidney stones and other urinary tract problems. Moreover, it has some very powerful antibacterial properties and is proven to help keep your heart healthy.

Preparation

Wash the pineapple, lemon and ginger well. Cut them into thin slices.
Pour the water in a jug or water bottle.
Mix all the ingredients together and leave the water to steep overnight in the fridge.
