Ingredients


3 cups wholegrain oats traditional

1/2 cup almonds

1/2 cup raw cashews

1/2 cup shredded coconut

1/2 cup pumpkin seeds

1/2 cup sunflower seeds

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 cup virgin coconut oil

4 tablespoons pure maple syrup

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Introduction

Whipping up your granola at home is super quick, easy and tastes SO much better than the store-bought options. This energy-boosting granola is full of wholesome ingredients like oats, nuts, and seeds.

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F or 170 degrees C.
Mix the oats along with all the nuts, seeds, and flaked coconut in a large bowl and stir well.
In a separate bowl whisk the melted coconut oil, vanilla, maple syrup, and cinnamon until smooth.
Pour the coconut oil mixture over the oat mixture and mix well until coated evenly.
Spread a thin layer of the granola inside a baking container and put in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, stirring every 6-7 minutes. The granola is ready when it turns light brown and has a crispy texture.
