Ingredients


1/3 cup oats

2/3 cup almond milk (or coconut milk)

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (ground)

1 teaspoon ground flaxseed (or chia seed)

1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1 teaspoon pure maple syrup

1 tablespoon walnut (chopped)

1 tablespoon almonds (chopped)

2 tablespoons frozen mixed berries

Introduction

For a breakfast with great digestive benefits, simply soak some oats overnight! Oats are great for your gut as well as heart health and will help you feel full for longer. Top off your oatmeal with some berries for a hit of antioxidants, and don't forget the walnuts and almonds to provide you with healthy fats while also cutting your risk of getting cancer and heart conditions.

Preparation

Combine the oats, almond milk, cinnamon, flaxseed, and maple syrup.
Cover the oats and refrigerate it overnight.
Stir well and layer with berries and nuts over the top.
Enjoy it in the morning hot or cold!
